The LGBTA has five primary goals:
- Actively educate the campus community and the
community at large by providing resources and referrals concerning
issues of importance to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender
peoples, such as safe sex, LGBT rights and homophobia.
- Develop relationships with other student groups in
order to build coalitions for the larger purpose of ending
discrimination against all people.
- Establish working relationships with community
organizations with whom we share a common purpose.
- Provide social activities which create a sense of
community and fun.
- Advocate for equal rights for all people.
