Lambda United is an organization of students and others
from all fields of study and walks of life who are dedicated to bringing
harmony between the gay and straight communities on campus and in its
surrounding communities, as well as increasing awareness of gay and
straight issues. Gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, straight and
questioning people are all welcome.

GLASS provides a supportive
atmosphere for students, staff, and faculty who are dealing with issues
concerning sexual orientation; draws support from persons of homosexual,
bisexual, and heterosexual orientations; is a diverse organization with
men and women of a wide range of ages and from more than six nations;
offers a warm community for fellowship and guidance with scheduled
meetings for topic discussions, planning for community activities and
presentations, and social events and welcomes anyone with a serious
purpose.

Seeks to provide services and
programs to address the special needs of lgbt students and to increase the
awareness of issues pertinent to them within the Florida State University
community. Further, the LGBTSU shall attempt to create a supportive and
healthy environment for the welfare of all students, regardless of their
sexual orientation or gender identity.
